Live Shot Setup at the Touch of a Button

In addition to remotely controlling the Superquad™ and Silhouette™ central receive system, the NSI MC5 Remote Control can also remotely control the NSI NuPod®, Altra™ and Quick Shot™ automatic transmit systems. This advanced capability takes the microwave setup activities out of the truck and allows a single operator at the studio to control both ends of the microwave link. The vehicle operator raises the antenna and the studio does the rest.

Auto Link™ is an advanced automatic function of the MC5 that automatically aligns the transmit and central receive antennas – at the touch of a single button on the MC5. This closed loop solution eliminates the traditional hunt-and-seek method of link setup, simplifying operation and reducing setup time.
